The Big Climate Pub Quiz

Ten teams walked into the Hammersmith Grove Tavern thinking they knew their carbon footprint from their renewable energy stats.

Our first-ever Big Climate Pub Quiz brought together picture and music rounds, one topical anagram (Rooney Zeal = Ozone Layer), and enough climate trivia to test the most committed Guardian reader. Scores stayed razor-tight all night, but there could only be one winner, and it was BiodegradaBROS who took the crown, presumably going home to compost it responsibly.

Enormous thanks to our quizmaster Kele Little-Devito, who, supported by committee member Greg Harris, hosted with just the right mix of fact and mischief, and to the Hammersmith Grove Tavern for the hosting 40+ thirsty participants.
