Reporting a Crime

Is it an emergency?

Does it feel like the situation could get heated or violent very soon? Is someone in immediate danger? Do you need support right away? If so, call 999.

If you have a hearing or speech impairment, use the textphone service 18000 or text the police on 999 if you’ve pre-registered with the emergency SMS service.

If it’s not an emergency

If you’ve witnessed or been the victim of a crime that isn’t an emergency, please report it to the police online https://www.met.police.uk/ro/report/ocr/af/how-to-report-a-crime/ Your report will be sent directly to the police control room.

You can also inform the Grove Ward Safer Neighbourhood Team so they can gather data and direct resources accordingly at grove.snt@met.police.uk

Ward Panel

Are you concerned about crime in the Grove, Ravenscourt and Wendell Wards? If so, you may want to join your local Ward Panel so that you can work with other local people to help the police to prioritise crimes which are of concern to the community

A Ward Panel is a community body that seeks to represent the neighbourhoods (Wards) in which we live. Its primary purpose is to work with our local police teams and H&F Council’s Law Enforcement Teams (LET) to review crime and anti-social behaviour

Meetings are held four times a year where crime issues are raised and we hear from the police and LET what actions they are taking

BRA has representation on the Grove Ward Panel but the Ward Panel is always looking to recruit more local people. If you are concerned about crime in the Grove, Ravenscourt and Wendell Wards please email crime@brackenburyresidents.co.uk and we will let you know the date of the next Ward Panel meeting. This email is not intended to be used to report local crime – this should be reported to the Safer Neighbourhood Team (see contact details on the local services page of the BRA website), calling 101 or, if serious, 999.

Unsure about which Ward you live in , here is a link to a map of the London Borough of Hammersmith & Fulham Wards.
