Fun fact: The centre was founded in 2020 when a group of games players raised £2 million to buy and restore a former Salvation Army Hall on Dalling Road — originally built as the Albion Congregational Church. The whole project was completed and opened to the public in August 2021.

Their award-winning meeting house on Bradmore Park Road — completed in 2020 and designed to Passivhaus energy standards — is open for Sunday meetings for worship at 11am, and rooms are available to hire for community groups, classes and events. Everyone is welcome.

Fun fact: The building was chosen from a field of 126 architects, built sustainably from FSC-certified larch, oak and birch, and won the Hammersmith Society’s 2021 Environmental Award. It sits opposite the Grove Neighbourhood Centre on Bradmore Park Road — and the Quakers specifically thanked the Brackenbury Residents Association for their support during the planning process.
