Fun fact: The Andover hosts a wide range of events throughout the year — from live drawing evenings and backgammon tournaments to themed BBQs spilling out onto the street.

At the heart of Brackenbury Village, the Stonemasons Arms is a Fuller’s gastropub serving craft beer and sourdough pizza voted in the top 50 in Europe. Exposed brick, a log burner, sun deck and a private function room make it a go-to for everything from a quiet pint to a celebration dinner. Quiz nights, Sunday roasts and a wine list of over 60 bottles complete the picture.
Fun fact: Originally called the Cambridge Arms, the pub was built in 1853 and renamed the Stonemasons Arms following a major makeover in 1997.

Fun fact: The building’s unusual structure won a lucrative award in 1997, having had a second floor added in 1994.

The London MindSports Centre

A unique community venue on Dalling Road dedicated to mind sports — home to the Young Chelsea Bridge Club, Hammersmith Chess Club and the London Go Centre. Rooms are also available to hire for community groups, classes, meetings and events. Visitors are welcome to drop in and join any of the clubs.
Fun fact: The centre was founded in 2020 when a group of games players raised £2 million to buy and restore a former Salvation Army Hall on Dalling Road — originally built as the Albion Congregational Church. The whole project was completed and opened to the public in August 2021.
Hammersmith Quaker Meeting House

A faith community working for peace, equality and a sustainable future, with roots in Hammersmith stretching back over 375 years. Their award-winning meeting house on Bradmore Park Road — completed in 2020 and designed to Passivhaus energy standards — is open for Sunday meetings for worship at 11am, and rooms are available to hire for community groups, classes and events. Everyone is welcome.
Fun fact: The building was chosen from a field of 126 architects, built sustainably from FSC-certified larch, oak and birch, and won the Hammersmith Society’s 2021 Environmental Award. It sits opposite the Grove Neighbourhood Centre on Bradmore Park Road — and the Quakers specifically thanked the Brackenbury Residents Association for their support during the planning process.
