The Hammersmith & Fulham ParaGames Tennis squad scooped the top pace in the London Youth Games ParaGames tennis competition, which is for young people with a learning disability, at Westway Sports & Fitness Centre on Tuesday, March 10.
The squad, aged year 9 and under, came through the group stages unbeaten, with wins over Westminster, Hillingdon and Enfield.
In the semi-finals the team defeated Haringey, before facing Westminster a second time in the final, but H&F were too strong and took the gold with a 3-1 win.
The games is Europe’s largest annual youth sports event and is driving the legacy for increased participation in competitive sport and volunteering for young Londoners.
