Proposed new sewer in the borough

Thames Water have launched a consultation in the borough for a proposed new sewer which would reduce the risk of sewer flooding to over 1,700 properties. To build this new sewer they propose to use five areas across the London Borough of Hammersmith & Fulham and the Royal Borough of Kensington & Chelsea as construction sites:

·         Site in between Bamborough Gardens and Shepherds Bush Road (Shepherds Bush Green Ward)
·         Mund Street (North End Ward)
·         Kensington Olympia car park (Addison Ward, Avonmore and Brook Green Ward and Holland Park Ward – RBKC)
·         Cremorne Wharf on Lots Road (Chelsea Riverside Ward – RBKC)
·         Upper Addison Gardens (Holland Park Ward – RBKC)

More information can be found in the attached document or on thier website at thameswater.co.uk/counterscreek.

See the attachment for copy of the letter being sent to residents in the borough who live close to a proposed and an alternative construction site. Both documents have details of the Thames Water roadshows. They are holding drop-in events until mid-January.
