If you’re over 60 and don’t have plans for Christmas Day, then why not come and celebrate with hundreds of other residents instead?
Up to 300 of the borough’s older residents will celebrate Christmas Day together at Hammersmith Town Hall this year.
The council’s Christmas Day lunch offers H&F residents over 60 who may otherwise be alone over the festive period the chance to come together for roast turkey with all the trimmings. H&F is the only council in the country to provide such a Christmas Day meal.
Over 80 volunteers contributed to the day itself last year; from serving Christmas lunch, making sure the guests have everything they need and even joining in with a dance.
If you would like to donate something towards the Christmas Day lunch, either a cash donation towards the event, gifts for the pensioners or volunteer your time, please download the donation form here or download the volunteering form here. Email them to events@lbhf.gov.uk, or call 020 8753 2135
Those interested in attending should complete an application form by December 3. Download the form here and email it to events@lbhf.gov.uk, or call 020 8753 2135.
