BRA has asked for extra signage to be placed at the entrance to Lena Gardens to deter traffic using the alternative routes through the Trussley Road arch, Aldensley Road or Benbow Road and then coming through the Village for the Hammersmith Summer Street Fest on June 1.
However, expect some additional traffic will come through despite our best efforts to minimise the impact. The Council have organised another street fair with stalls and entertainment in King Street and Lyric Square – here is a link to more information from our earlier post.
This will mean the closure of King Street from 4.00am until 11.00pm on that day and diversions up Shepherds Bush Road and along Goldhawk Road will be in place, including particularly for buses.
