There is a distressing spate of vandalism to newly planted trees in bits of Brackenbury, with lower branches being torn of. Trees have been attacked recently in Adie Road and Banim Street, another case in Southerton Road. Not as bad as the others but still the same kind of damage – limbs torn of and thrown on the ground.
If residents see a damaged tree they can report it to eugene.mcgee@lbhf.gov.uk, especially if it needs remedial pruning to tidy up torn limbs. Also worth people keeping an eye out for the culprit/s, and intervening or reporting the activity to the Local Enforcement Team.
