BBC intends to film at St Peter’s Square on 17 July

BBC intends to film an episode of Silent Witness at St Peter’s Square, Hammersmith on the 17th July, 15.00Hrs – 01.00Hrs .
The Scene
1. They have applied for a road closure on the East side of the Square which would be set up as a crime scene.
2. Pre Crime scene with a bike stunt in the closed road.
3. Police cars parked up in the closed road with blue lights on.
They have also applied to suspend a number of bays to be clear for shot, to incorporate the stunt and for safety reasons.
There will be marshals in high vis vests to manage and engage with residents, and police from the Met Police film Unit on site on the day.
The production have also been liaising with Stephen Askins and Oliver Leigh Wood from the St Peter’s Square Tenants and Residents Association who are happy to accommodate the production on the day.
In order to mitigate inconvenience the production will consult extensively with the residents and have offered a substantial donation to the Tenants and Residents Association, which will be of great benefit to the wider community.
