Anglesea Arms – Asset of Community Value
The Hammersmith Society thanks Brackenbury residents who rallied to support its application to register The Anglesea Arms as an Asset of Community Value. The letters/emails sent to James Preece, the planning officer, were invaluable in confirming The Anglesea as an excellent gastropub with great social and community value. We have heard that the nomination will be officially registered after Easter and we expect the final decision by 17 June. Having fulfilled the criteria for registration – and we believe we have – the Council will register the Asset.
Rosemary Petitt is collecting copies of letters/emails sent to James Preece for future use – with the writer’s permission – should there ever be an unwelcome planning application for the Anglesea. If you have written to him, could you please forward your email to her at email@example.com, if you haven’t already done so.
